How to Play Monopoly Online

Welcome to the classic game of Monopoly! The objective is to become the wealthiest player by buying, renting, and trading properties. Bankrupt your opponents to win!

• Game Setup: Typically involves choosing a token and starting with a set amount of money. The online version may handle this automatically or offer options.
• Gameplay:
  • Players roll dice to move around the game board.
  • Landing on an unowned property allows you to buy it. If you decline, it might be auctioned.
  • If you land on a property owned by another player, you must pay them rent. Rent increases if the owner has a monopoly (all properties of a color group) or has built houses/hotels.
  • Landing on "Chance" or "Community Chest" spaces requires drawing a card and following its instructions.
  • "Go to Jail," "Income Tax," and "Luxury Tax" spaces have specific actions.
• Building: Once you own all properties in a color group (a monopoly), you can build houses and then hotels to increase the rent owed by opponents.
• Trading: Players can trade properties, cash, and "Get Out of Jail Free" cards with each other.
• Winning: The last player remaining after all others have gone bankrupt wins the game.
